Foreign Trade Zones might not be what you expect. They come in all shapes, sizes, and locations – in fact, one is expected to be added to the Denver area soon! Similar to other incentive programs, they can be negotiated. This course is an introduction FTZs and the business and tax operations and beneﬁts of FTZs in the U.S. Bill and Lynlee will discuss the application process, management considerations, customs beneﬁts, and state speciﬁc tax beneﬁts. Attendees will gain an understanding of the business and tax beneﬁts a Foreign Trade Zone can provide and operationally how it’s managed and run.

CPE and CLE courses are designed to comply with Colorado State Board of Accountancy and NASBA CPE and Colorado Supreme Court CLE standards and the provider requirements outlined in sections 88.1 and 88.2 of the California Board of Accountancy Regulations. CPE and CLE courses are based on 50-minute credit hours. Participants must attend at least 50 minutes of a particular course to receive one (1) credit in that course. All courses will be delivered in a live group method. Participants are encouraged to confirm eligibility compliance with their jurisdiction. CLE hours are anticipated.
