Tax Principles: Learning Tax through the Odd, the Weird, and the Funny

The principles of tax law needn’t be boring and laborious. In this presentation Bruce Nelson will introduce certain of the basic concepts of income tax through some of the strangest and oftentimes funniest tax court cases you will ever encounter including selling your blood, catching baseballs for fun and profit, finding money in your piano, and several strange deductions. After this presentation, tax law will never look the same.

No preparation or prior knowledge of tax law or principles is required.

This course qualifies for 1.0 hour of CPE in the Taxes field of study. It will be delivered in a live group method on January 25, 2017, from 7:10 to 8:00 pm.
