Jay joined Grant Thornton’s Denver office in January of 2012. He focuses primarily on federal corporate taxation, including tax compliance and provision preparation services for private equity backed multinationals. Jay also supports Grant Thornton’s audit practice by assisting in annual and quarterly tax provision reviews of public and private companies. Jay has worked on a variety of projects during his tenure at Grant Thornton, including transfer pricing calculations, buy and sell side tax due diligence, cross border tax planning/structuring, and chapter 3 withholding.
Jay has been involved in various internal initiatives throughout his tenure at Grant Thornton, including the migration of provision preparation processes to Grant Thornton’s Bangalore service center and various local office community outreach and employee engagement committees.
Jay holds a BSBA and MSBA in tax accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder.
