Foreign Trade Zones might not be what you expect. They come in all shapes, sizes, and locations – in fact, one is expected to be added to the Denver area soon! Similar to other incentive programs, they can be negotiated. This course is an introduction FTZs and the business and tax operations and benefits of FTZs in the U.S. Bill and Lynlee will discuss the application process, management considerations, customs benefits, and state specific tax benefits. Attendees will gain an understanding of the business and tax benefits a Foreign Trade Zone can provide and operationally how it’s managed and run.

How 3D Printing Is Changing the Future of Business (and Tax). 7:00—7:50 pm. Qualifies for 1 CPE and CLE (applied) credit hour. 3D printing has the potential to significantly change the marketplace – impacting manufacturing, distribution, shopping, even how and where services are delivered. How will the sales and use tax system adapt to these changes? In this course Bill and Jeanette will cover how 3D printing may change the marketplace and the tax implications of these changes.

CPE and CLE courses are designed to comply with Colorado State Board of Accountancy and NASBA CPE and Colorado Supreme Court CLE standards and the provider requirements outlined in sections 88.1 and 88.2 of the California Board of Accountancy Regulations. CPE and CLE courses are based on 50-minute credit hours. Participants must attend at least 50 minutes of a particular course to receive one (1) credit in that course. All courses will be delivered in a live group method.
