How to Make the Most of Your Tax Career

Presented by Tony Nitti, Partner at WithumSmith+Brown

There are many ways to make it to “the top” of the tax industry. But, if you want enjoy lasting success that can travel anywhere, you have to have substance. Clients, co-workers, and even employers come and go, but technical expertise that allows you to add value to clients, co-workers and an employer will remain forever, making you an attractive asset.

In this session, attendees will learn the importance of “investing in yourself” and understanding that before you can be a great rainmaker or partner, you have to have substance in the form of an underlying knowledge of the tax law. Tony will explain how making the decision to invest in himself turned his career around, and how continuing to challenge himself to learn and master new material has provided him opportunities within the tax world he would have otherwise never received. No special experience or knowledge is required.
