Building a Best in Class Tax Department

This session will provide participants with an overview of the qualities and attributes of best in class Tax Departments. The session will cover common obstacles to efficiency and effectiveness in Tax Departments and identify tools and strategies to overcome those obstacles. The session will also address protocols that mitigate tax and financial reporting risk and create a culture of tax optimization.

No preparation or prior knowledge of managing Tax Departments is required. Knowledge gained from this session can be applied to other fields, including Accounting and Finance.

This course qualifies for 1.0 hour of CPE in the Management Planning in Industry field of study and is in the process of being certified for 1.0 hour of CLE. It will be delivered in a live group method on November 16, 2016, from 7:10 to 8:00 pm.

This course is designed to comply with Colorado State Board of Accountancy and NASBA CPE standards. Participants are encouraged to confirm eligibility compliance with their jurisdiction.
